One Step Closer To Being A Grown Up

Yesterday I finally did something that the rest of the world seems to have done. Yep, at the grand old age of 36 I finally sat my learner driving test. I'd be lying if I didn't admit to being a little scared by the whole thing. I probably shouldn't have told everyone I was doing it because I was more afraid of failing the thing that everyone else has already passed and then having to admit to it. Fortunately though I scraped on through so I am now allowed to legally drive with supervision. I'm not that excited about it truth be told. Maybe I'll get the driving bug yet.....
I cant take my test for 9 whole months and I have to have 6 hours of class time and 6 hours of instructor tuition by then. See why I'm not that excited!

Had a little beverage or two at the bar afterwards to toast my new Class 7 driver level, subsequently I'm a little rough today. Think its just going to be a settee and blanket evening for me. Tomorrow I'll have a bit more of a notion to do something


I should really post some kind of a picture everyday so this is the last one I took on my phone. Its of the trashcans I've been painting. The first one I did went well, the second one wasnt as easy. Just about everything I do at the minute turns a bit shit. When did that start happening? Je n'aime pas

*incidentally, here's a little driving information for my English friends. It is totally legal here to turn right on a red light if there is nothing coming and totally legal to turn left on a red light from a one way street. Weird.
